The Motorsport-Club Osnabrück e.V. has another premiere in store for motorsport enthusiasts: The 58th ADAC Hill Climb Race Osnabrück from 7 to 9 August 2026 will be part of the FIA Historic Hill Climb Championship. It will be the first round ever of that championship in Germany. This was announced by the World Motor Sport Council of the International Automobile Federation (FIA) following its recent meeting in Tashkent (Uzbekistan).

This prestigious international competition will be contested across seven European countries, including at Rechbergrennen in Austria and the Ecce Homo hill climb in the Czech Republic. It further expands the high-calibre field of powerful touring cars and open-top racing cars coming to Osnabrück, with Europe's top drivers battling it out for thousandths of a second on the 2.030 km track. The FIA Historic Hill Climb Championship will bring a large variety of beautiful racing cars from past decades to Uphöfener Berg which have never been there before.

The numerous fans of historic cars will have the opportunity to see them both up close in the paddock and of course in action on the track.
