From Pikes Peak to Uphöfener Berg: Christian Merli

Christian Merli will be back at Uphöfener Berg for the Int. 56th Hill Climb Race Osnabrück on 2-4 August 2024. Last year the 5-times European hill climb champion from Italy slid into the tyre stack in the first corner and had to give up, and he is keen to do better this year. Before then, however, every hill climb driver’s dream is going to come true for him: In June he will take part in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in Colorado/USA, the hardest and most famous hill climb race in the world, which goes from an altitude of 2862 m to an altitude of 4300 m. Christian Merli will be tackling the “Race to the Clouds” on the extremely demanding 19.9 km track at the wheel of a Wolf Aurobay Gb08 2.0 Hp. Obviously, his Osnabrück friends and fans will be keeping their fingers crossed for him for this exciting challenge in the Rocky Mountains.
